STEM Cup
In Term 2, two teams of Year 7 students competed in the Griffith University STEM Cup and at the end of last term they qualified and competed in the state finals. Unfortunately, neither team placed but well done to the teams for making the finals. They will compete again in the second round of the competition this term. Live Ekka Day Event
eSports Club produced a top team that competed in the University of Queensland High School League of Legends Competition. The team placed top ten in the state going into the playoffs. Unfortunately, the team lost in the first round of the playoffs. Next year boys! On 18 August, the team will compete in the upcoming UQ Live Ekka Day Event, competing against rival TAS schools Ormiston and St. Paul’s. UQ will be live streaming the event, check out the link below on the day to watch our boys give it to Ormiston and St. Paul’s!
